The Siddha nitya yoga

a birth, or an activity begun, under the Siddha nitya yoga, the panchanga's own yoga found by summing the Sun's and Moon's longitudes, not a planetary combination yoga

What the tradition reads

Siddha is the twenty first of the twenty seven nitya yogas, the panchanga limb Wikipedia's article on the Panchangam describes as found from the sum of the Sun's and Moon's longitudes, a computation unrelated to any planetary combination yoga formed between grahas placed together in a chart. Onesanatan.com reads its name as accomplished, mastered or perfected, names Kartikeya as its ruling deity, and classes the yoga auspicious, a verdict astrogle.com's own reading confirms, describing a native of accommodating personality and pleasant nature with a real interest in ritual and spirituality. Both sources agree Siddha sits among the more reliably favourable of the twenty seven, its mastery read as something already settled and complete rather than as an achievement still being reached for, close in spirit though not identical to Siddhi, the sixteenth yoga in the same list.

The story

Kartikeya, Wikipedia's article records, is born from Shiva's own seed after his union with Parvati is disturbed, carried by Agni into the Ganges, and raised there by the Krittikas after dividing briefly into six infants before Parvati draws them back together into a single six headed god, born for the specific purpose of defeating the demon Tarakasura, whom no one but a son of Shiva could kill. Kartikeya fulfils that purpose completely, becoming commander of the divine armies once the demon and his brothers fall. A yoga of mastery and accomplishment, ruled by a god conceived, raised and armed for a single decisive task that he then carries out in full, fits Siddha's reading of settled perfection closely: the accommodating, pleasant temperament astrogle.com gives its native is that of someone whose hardest work is already behind them, mastery held rather than still being fought for.
